Island of Contrasts: From the Heartland to the Supreme Northern Coast

Overview

Through this invitation by sea and by land, you will find out that there are very few places in the world with such an exotic combination of marvelous landscapes, pristine beaches and rich cultural tapestry as Mallorca. And you will also discover why it was once baptized as the Island of Calm.

You’ll be allowing the world to move just a little more slowly as soon as you get into the idyllic hamlet of Biniagual and discover its more than 34 hectares of vines and 180 hectares acreage dedicated to the traditional Majorcan agriculture, which stands for sustainable and versatile mixed crops.

Biniagual’s fields and winery are located in a traditional wine region of Mallorca, where vines were already cultivated back in the 13th century. By 1968 the abandoned village started being rebuilt out of ruins in the following decades.

You’ll be captivated by Biniagual estate’s absolute infallible recipe: Using loving handwork while blending tradition and sophistication within a well-preserved Majorcan ambience.

Let the residents escort you through very special corners of the village and relish tasting a selection of products and wines from the estate before giving farewell to this very special piece of land at the core of Majorca.

Afterwards you’ll be heading towards the enthralling craggy northern coast where a charismatic and very experienced local skipper will be waiting for you to board his Llaüt, a gorgeous and completely restored 60-year-old typical Majorcan wooden boat with a Latin sail which will take you to navigate the crystal-clear waters along the jagged coastline, which offers plenty of snug anchorages. Let yourself get astounded at how much you will enjoy sailing the Med, which is even more picturesque and idyllic in this concrete Bay!

Carbon footprint offsetting

Carbon offsetting is a method used to balance greenhouse gas emissions by investing in projects that reduce or eliminate equivalent emissions elsewhere.

At Lemon Tours, we carefully calculate the carbon footprint of each of our tours, considering factors such as transportation and activity consumption. We then invest in a variety of certified carbon offset projects, such as renewable energy, reforestation and others, to offset these emissions.
